Tuesday, the Federal Reserve issues its G.19 release on Consumer Credit for December. Analysts are expecting an increase of around $5 billion.

Wednesday, the Mortgage Bankers Association issues its weekly Mortgage Application Survey, which covers both mortgage rates and numbers of new mortgage applications. Also Wednesday, the Energy Information Administration of the Department of Energy will issue the weekly Petroleum Status Report and This Week in Petroleum.

Wednesday Treasury Schedule: 10-Year Note Auction 1:00ET

Thursday, the Department of Commerce will release Wholesale Trade figures for December. The Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee monthly announcement is scheduled for Thursday. The Employment and Training Administration will issue its weekly report on Jobless Claims.

Thursday Treasury Schedule: 3-Month T-Bill Announcement 11:00ET, 6-Month T-Bill Announcement 11:00ET, 30-Year Bond Auction 1:00ET

Friday, the Commerce Department will issue International Trade figures for December, which are expected to fall by $65 billion. The Treasury Department will issue federal budget numbers for January.
