See the October 2 to October 6 Version here or view all the Financial Roadmap Series here.
Coming on the heels of reports of increased foreclosure activity, declining construction activity and the lowest builder confidence in fifteen years, big news this week will come from the housing market with existing home sales and new home sales for August. We'll also see how a declining housing market and higher energy costs are bleeding through to the consumer economy with reports on consumer confidence and spending.

The earnings releases listed are companies I've chosen because of their industries, because of market capitalization (the size of the company), because they have local plants in my area or for various other reasons of general interest. Please do not take these as a “recommendation†of any sort. That I list them here simply means that I think the results may be interesting for any number of reason - I may occasionally even choose companies where I expect negative results.
