The Week Ahead: Your Financial Roadmap for November 13 to November 17, 2006
This week's numbers include a look at the new homes market with housing starts and the National Association of Homebuilders Housing Market Index. Positive news on either front would be a surprise. We'll also get important news on the manufacturing sector of the economy with surveys from the New York and Philadelphia Federal Reserve Banks and the industrial production G.17 release from the Federal Reserve. Fed watchers and savvy investors will be paying special attention to the Consumer Price Index and Producer Price Index releases ‫ any signs of continued inflation will raise interest rate worries.

The earnings releases listed are companies I've chosen because of their industries, because of market capitalization (the size of the company), because they have local plants in my area or for various other reasons of general interest. Please do not take these as a “recommendation†of any sort. That I list them here simply means that I think the results may be interesting for any number of reason - I may occasionally even choose companies where I expect negative results.
